College of Liberal Arts Dean Candidates to Visit Campus - January 14 through January 18

Provost and Executive Vice President Kathleen Enz Finken has accepted the recommendation of the College of Liberal Arts Dean Consultative Search Committee, chaired by Josh Machamer, to invite two finalists for the position to visit campus.  Biographies and curricula vitae are linked below.

Faculty, staff, students and the campus community are invited to attend the Open Forum scheduled for each of the finalists.  Open Forums will run 11:10 a.m. to Noon in Philips Hall (Building 06, Room 124) on the dates listed below:

  • Tuesday, January 15 - Mitchell P. Smith
  • Friday, January 18 - Philip J. Williams

The Consultative Search Committee and others involved in this critical search value the comments of the campus community. Participants and attendees at Open Forums are encouraged to provide their comments confidentially to one of the search committee members listed on the Candidate Comment Sheet (doc), which will also be provided at each Open Forum. Please submit all comments no later than Tuesday, January 22 at 5:00 p.m.
