Research Interest: Design of ionic fluids including the design of ionic liquids, polymeric ionic liquids, and water-soluble organic compounds that undergo reversible oxidation and reduction reactions (so-called 'redoxolytes'), translating these materials into industrial processes in energy storage and greenhouse gas capture.
