Kyle Tanaka (he/him/his)
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Success Librarian
Degree: PhD in philosophy from Emory University; MA in philosophy from Stony Brook University; BA in philosophy from California State University, Stanislaus.
Research Interest: Inclusivity and equity in higher education (especially pedagogy), the relationship between metadata, history, and education, and the ontological/epistemological/ethical/political dimensions of social identity categories.

Foundational Learning and Engagement Librarian
Degree: BA in Biology from Central College and Master's in Library & Information Science from San José State University

Danielle Daugherty (she/her/hers)
Digital Initiatives and Engagement Librarian
Degree: BA in History with a minor in Graphic Communication from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo; Master’s in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University
Research Interest: Increasing user experience (UX) maturity within academic libraries; developing a digital heuristic evaluation tool for library websites; implementing regular UX research and feedback sessions focused on understanding and addressing the needs of underrepresented library users.
